INDICA VISTA- A Perfect family hatchback car

On 22 August, 2008, Tata Motors launched Indica Vista, which is an improved version of its successful car Indica. The car is fully packed with all new advanced features. Indica Vista has got a great interior and attractive exterior and because of its classy look it’s able to catch an attention of customers. Launch of Tata Indica Vista was particularly to target the hatchback market. The car is quite bigger than the Tata Indica. Its design makes it a perfect car for Indian roads and for long journeys on highways. It’s an evolution of the Indica and came out as a perfect family car. Indica Vista carries very stylish interior features with lots of luxuries in it.

VARIANTS

Car is available in 8 variants in Indian automobile market. Tata Vista is available in both petrol and diesel engine. Three variants have Safire petrol engine, two has TDI diesel engine and other five has Quadra jet diesel engine. The price of the car varies from Rs. 3.39 lakhs to 4.76 lakhs. (Ex. ENGINE

Indica Vista comes with two engines- Petrol engine and diesel engine. The petrol version of Tata Indica Vista comes with 12.2 L CVCP Safire engine. It generates output of 65 bhp at 5500 rpm and the maximum torque produced by engine is 96 Nm at 3000 rpm. The diesel engine comes with 1.4 L turbo charged TDI and 1.3 L Quadra jet engine. 1.4 L TDI engine generates a power of 71 bhp @ 4500 rpm and maximum torque produced by engine is 135 Nm @ 2500 rpm. The Quadra jet engine generates a power of 75 bhp @ 4000rpm. The maximum torque produced is 190 Nm @1250 rpm. The transmission in both the petrol and diesel engine is 5-speed transmission.

DESIGN & COLOURS

The Tata Indica Vista catches everyone’s attention by its attractive looks. Overall appeal of the car is increased by its new central character line on the hood. The tail lights and headlamps are much more attractive than the older version of Indica. Indica Vista is available in so many attractive colours like Cavern Grey, Infinity Black, Nobel blue, Arctic Silver, Solar Orange, Marine Silver and Gala Red.

This car offers very smooth and safe ride on the city roads and highways. Five people can take a very comfortable ride. It provides great comfort with its spacious interior.
