Dzire -  Sedan version of the Swift hatchback

On March 26, 2008, the new entry level Sedan from Auto master Maruti Suzuki, which is known as Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire was launched in the markets of India. The car was rolled out only in Indian market. The car is specially known for its delivery delays as number of cars being booked is large. The Swift Dzire is one of revolutionary version that fulfils the middle man’s desire. Swift Dzire is the sedan version of the Swift hatchback.

Maruti Swift Dzire comes in six different variants:

Basically two variants are available: petrol and diesel.

The petrol version is available in: -LXi, VXi and ZXi. &

The diesel version is available in: - -LDi, VDi and ZDi.

DESIGN & COMFORT

Swift Dzire retains cheeky appeal of its sibling but with much more premium look. When it’s compared to the hatch it has completely new look. Especially doors and windows. It has bigger doors and much larger window glass areas. The car’s interior has a great luxury look which is made up of great materials. The VXi, Zxi, VDi and ZDi come with fittings like tacho-meter, centre and front cabin lights, vanity mirror, rear seat centre arm rest and front electric power windows.

ENGINE

The car provides the choice of two engines same like its hatchback version – Swift, namely the petrol and diesel version.

Petrol engine- A four cylinder 1197cc 16V DOHC

Diesel engine-A four cylinder1248cc 16V DOHC

For the latest requirements Maruti has launched a latest K-series engine which is installed in new Maruti Swift Dzire.
