Mahindra Bolero- sports utility vehicle

Mahindra Bolero was launched by Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), India’s manufacturing and marketing company in utility vehicles and light commercial vehicles. This model was a great success for Mahindra and Mahindra group. Style, success and convenience are three major plus points for its success. This sports utility vehicle is specially designed for long journeys and rough areas. Five speed transmission system of this car ensures great fuel efficiency. Mahindra Bolero is a unique combination of power and size. Its sturdy body and high ground clearance are perfect for Indian roads. VARIANTS

All the variants of Bolero are available in sporty look.  Basically Mahindra Bolero is available in eight variants with great stylish exterior as well as roomy interior. The eight variants are SLX, sports, DX, DI, XLS, XL, Invader and Camper. Bolero is available in very attractive metallic colours. The SLX and DI versions are available with the option of four wheel drive.  An Independent front suspension with coil spring is available in all the models. The price of Bolero varies from 4.26 lakhs to 6.19 lakhs.

ENGINE

Mahindra Bolero is one of the best cars in its segments in fuel efficiency. The five speed transmission system puts it in the category of best fuel efficient car. Bolero comes with 2500cc, four stroke diesel engine. It delivers a great power of 72.5 bhp. Its operating cost is very low and provides better mileage. Maximum power generated is 72.5 bhp @ 4000 rpm. The maximum torque produced is 15.5 Nm @ 2000 rpm. The dimension of diesel engine is 4260 (L) X 1815 (W) X 1810 (H). The MDI and DI models don’t have an independent front suspension system. They get leaf springs in the front. It comes with a very responsive power steering which is very smooth in shifting.

DESIGN AND COMFORT

This multi utility vehicle comes with great sport look exterior and very roomy interior. Mahindra Bolero is very elegantly designed for bumpy Indian roads.  Its dynamic appearance put it in a category of stylish multi utility vehicles. Its attractive and matching seats are new features. Some add-ons are like 4- speaker music system, power steering, anti submarine seats and power AC. Its other features include mobile charger with holder, arm rest and space for placing magazines or bottles. The extended bumpers and bold frontage and two tone bonnet are new features of Bolero.
