Elantra – Luxury Sedan

Hyundai is a South Korean company. In the India Hyundai is one of the leading automobiles manufacturer companies. In 2001, Hyundai launched Hyundai Elantra (Korean). After sometimes Elantra marketed in Australia and some European markets. Hyundai Elanta has European style exterior. It is India’s very popular sedan car with luxury. Elanta is a great success because of its rear performance. It was crowned as India’s first performing luxury sedan. After its launching it has become strong car with great comfort. It is equipped with features like climate controller and steering. The European style makes this car unique in style. Elantra shows its real power on. Hyundai Elantra has been a very economic car and gives a great mileage of 15-16km with AC. The car is quite spacious and it ensures the comfort of passengers. Engine

Hyundai Elantra is available with two different engines; petrol engine and diesel engine. It come with2.0 liter CRDi Diesel engine and 1.8 liter petrol engine. It generates the power of 112.2 bhp at 4000rpm. The DOHC petrol engine has 127 bhp output@6000 rpm. It is dream sedan car which has a most powerful engine. The engine of Hyundai Elantra is 4-cylinder engine which has four speed automatic transmission systems. It is also available with five speed manual transmission system. Hyundai Elantra gives 12 km/L mileage on city roads and 16 km/L mileage on highways, which shows that this car is quiet fuel efficient car. The maximum torque produced by the engine is 25 Nm. The engine is also environment friendly.

Variants 

Hyundai Elantra is available in three variants; Elantra GT, Elantra GLS and Elantra CRDi. All the models have same transmission system of four speed automatic transmissions or five speed manual transmission system. The price of the car varies from 7 lakhs to 9.5 lakhs. Hyundai Elantra is available in different attractive colors like Apple red pearl, Black noir pearl, Carbon, Gray mist, Metallic Ebony black pearl, Laguna sand metallic, natural khaki pearl and Regatta Blue pearl.

Design and Safety

The car has very attractive interior like soothing music system variable inter mitten, RHD controls. The seats are highly adjustable both the rear seat and driver seat. Its upgraded version has AC, power windows, heated seats and keyless entry. Some additional features like side impact and audio controls are add-ons. This car is equipped with very high safety features like Electronic Brakes Force Distribution System, Anti lock Braking System and Collapsible Steering which ensures the safety of the passengers
